Dudes (and dudets) thanks for the suggestions.

@S: I agree, the tabs section could use some work. The current way that it's set up is tedious and not very user friendly. S, I thought about a tag cloud but it kinda hinders one of the main purposes of the site: to discover new banjo tabs. If I was to implement a tag cloud, it would be dominated by Sufjan and the other artists' tabs would be overshadowed. I don't really know what to do now but when I get some time I'll start tinkering with it.

Chimin' in to reiterate what these guys say.

Please keep it coming! It's wonderful to know that there's some banjo players out there that aren't satisfied strumming out dusty folk lullabies.

Hey Mike!
I love the site and new layout. I don't have a twitter, nor do I plan on getting one, so that addition is no help to me. Otherwise, everything else is great. I'm glad to see this site is active and I like your blogs with helpful new tabs and info on our favorite banjo-playing artists. Keep up the good work!

The new site looks great! It's leaps and bounds better than the old google pages one =)

I really like the addition of the blog posts! I'd really like to see a post about how you create the tabs. It might be helpful to post about reading the tabs, for the real beginners. It would also be cool to see more posts about different alternative bands who use the banjo, I'm always interested in banjo-related music recommendations.

I had the same problem Joe did with regards to the "Tabs" Category... Perhaps renaming "Category" into something like "Post Category" would be helpful. For more clarity, you could also add "Post" to the Archives and Subscribe headers.

Your Tabs page could be more visually appealing... I would suggest the cloud system for organization (a la indieguitartabs)

You could utilize your About page by explaining a bit more about the aim of the site, the blog posts, and you could include a plea for tab submission there.

Video lessons would be a huge help. I saw you had a youtube account. Since everyone in the world seems to use youtube, uploading a few How To lessons would probably get the site more attention.

Sorry! I'm also a big webdesign nerd, I get carried away with suggestions.

Hey Mike, the new site looks great. I love the blog posts (I'm big fan of RSS). Tweets are good too, but I tend not to check them as much. I love your site, I play clawhammer myself, but love being able to play Sujan and others. As for the site, the "tabs" categories link is confusing. I expect it will take me to the "tabs" page like the link on the top.
